The Ministry of Tourism announced the establishment of a holiday village and a promenade on the village's beach. The plan included the development of a modern fishing market and an advanced port with electricity and water infrastructures and close supervision by the Ministries of Health and Agriculture. In 2020, 19 years later, there is no Bejsar, no port, no breakwater and not even fish.
